Position Description

You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (APPSW/SYSANALYSIS) in the MQ-4C Triton Fleet Support Team (FST) within the FST Engineering Department at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will serve as the MQ-4C system expert, advising IT specialists and analysts to resolve complex issues with application servers, network architecture (firewalls/ports), applications, space utilization, backup/recovery, and testing techniques.
• You will plan and manage the sustainment, modification, and modernization of the MQ-4C network across multiple sites. This includes modifying systems, installing software updates, and tuning host systems to ensure efficient operation for the fleet.
• You will participate actively in the definition and implementation of operational testing programs, develop network solutions, and provide training to end users.
• You will formulate programming specifications, apply software reuse techniques, and critically review coding for adherence to programming standards.
