Job summary

Southern California Edison seeks an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead multiple complex programs within the IT Delivery & Execution Office for Transmission & Distribution, overseeing scope, schedule, budget and business outcomes.

The role requires 10+ years in IT project management for large enterprise initiatives, with experience in Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid-Agile. Hybrid work arrangement offered with California-residency assumed.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in IT project management.
• Experience managing activities of one or more large, mid-to-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes.
• Experience in IT Program Management or large enterprise projects.
• Three (3) or more years of experience IT portfolio management or product line management.
• Demonstrated experience using various project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid-Agile.
• Oversight and leadership of scope, schedule, budget, issues & risks – resource management.
• Demonstrated experience managing large systems integrators.
• Project Management & Agile Certification.
• Utility industry experience, ideally including delivery & implementation of critical control system software and grid technologies.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills collaborating with teams consisting of members across a variety of departments and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Manages activities of one or more large, mid- to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes.
• Develops business plans, objectives and initiatives for the organization.
• Provides inputs to organizational objectives and policies and ensures delivery of results.
• Engages regularly with senior management as a key consultant on critical business issues.
• Directs complex Agile release training planning, synchronization, and delivery across products and portfolios. Oversees data and platform migrations between legacy and next-gen systems with minimal business disruption.
• Facilitates the design and integration of robust CI/CD pipelines for enterprise-scale test automation and rapid release cycles.
• Leads large-scale Agile teams through full software development lifecycles from inception to deprecation.
• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

Additional Information

• This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
