Qualifications

• Experience with security compliance assessments and audits.
• Health IT experience preferred.
• Government agency experience preferred.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA, ISC2, SANS GIAC, CCNA Security preferred.

Required skills:

• Hands-on experience or educational background in IT System Security or System Administration.
• Experience with information security incident response procedures and practices.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT operations and security best practices.
• Experience with centralized log management and security monitoring processes.
• Familiarity with security regulatory requirements, frameworks, and standards, including NIST 800-series publications and ARC-AMPE.
• Experience conducting or supporting information security compliance assessments and audits.
• Prior experience in Health Information Technology (Health IT) is preferred.
• Experience working with federal, state, city, or local government agencies, either as an employee or consultant, is preferred.
• Relevant information security certifications such as CompTIA, ISC2, SANS GIAC, CCNA Security, or equivalent are preferred.
