Akkodis is seeking a Security Technology Specialist for a client in Cleveland, OH area. This is a direct hire position requiring a hybrid work schedule with some local travel. NOTE: This is NOT a Cyber Security or Network Security position.

Pay/Salary Range: based on years of experience: $70,000-80,000/yr

Job Description:

The Security Technology Specialist will have the opportunity to be an important member of a team to be integrated in community physical security technology support, installation, and maintenance. You will document system design and requirements, troubleshoot surveillance cameras, work with networked TV’s and radio systems, and install physical security technology for local entities working directly with local law enforcement and 911 dispatch. You will also be responsible for the application support for the relevant applications for the physical security technology.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience in physical security technology management including video management systems, surveillance cameras, etc.
Hands on experience with installing and troubleshooting hardware
Working knowledge of networking including Routing, Switching, Firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs as well as monitoring systems.
Strong organizational, time management, and negotiation skills is required
Demonstrated professional written and verbal communication is required
