Akkodis is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst for a client in the Chicago, IL area. This onsite contract position involves vulnerability management, including conducting scans and making remediation recommendations. Akkodis is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst for a client in Chicago, IL area. This is a Contract position requiring a 100% Onsite work schedule. Local candidates strongly preferred.

Pay/Salary Range: based on years of experience: $45-60/hr W2

Job Description:

The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for vulnerability management from start to finish for the firm. You will conduct vulnerability scans and assessments, document and escalate the high priority vulnerabilities through the chains. You will also strategize and make recommendations for remediations of the vulnerabilities. Your experience with SIEM, Vulnerability scanning and management tools, and ticketing systems as well as your overall expertise in cyber and network security will come into play in this role. The client requires your presence onsite in their offices every day of the week.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or Cyber Security is strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management is required
• 5+ years over all experience in IT infrastructure (helpdesk, networking, etc.) is required
• Additional experience in Cyber Security is strongly preferred
• Strong organizational, time management, and negotiation skills is required
• Demonstrated professional written and verbal communication is required
