Pay Range: $63,875 - $103,800/year

Duties

The IT Project Manager II-ENT (TPM) role is to assist with managing technical projects in the healthcare and IT system environment. This position manages the planning, execution, and completion of various projects. The TPM position collaborates with clinical and non-clinical cross-functional teams, including software developers, system architects, clinical and healthcare professionals, and stakeholders at all levels, to ensure that projects and tasks are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the organization's quality standards. The TPM works closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints and develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk assessment while identifying and engaging necessary resources for project execution.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist project sponsors in establishing project goals, metrics, and baselines, and facilitate collaboration and decision-making between sponsors and departments.
  • Develop detailed implementation plans, including project team structure, task lists, inter-dependencies, timetables, and budgets.
  • Define, identify, secure, and coordinate internal and external resources and expertise for program/project implementation.
  • Manage programs/projects within schedule and budget constraints to ensure business objectives are met and stakeholder expectations are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead and direct work assignments of internal and external resources to ensure successful support efforts.
  • Provide technical expertise within an assigned business unit/area, participating in the analysis, design, and development of business applications, and new product reviews, tests, and pilots.
  • Collect and analyze business requirements for large, multifunctional projects, perform feasibility studies, translate requirements into designs, and prepare detailed design specs and test plans.
  • Evaluate and implement application software packages, anticipate and create technical options to support IT operations and business objectives, and provide technical consulting support on projects or system issues.
  • Create comprehensive project closing documentation, including service level agreements (SLAs), RACI charts, and other related materials, to ensure clear communication and accountability.
  • Provide user support by solving technology-related problems, training users on software and hardware, handling troubleshooting, and providing quality assurance reviews of user systems, including 24/7 support when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
  • Project Management Experience : 3-5 years’ experience managing healthcare projects with an IT component and coordinating enterprise end-user routine adds, moves, and changes, as well as managing enterprise and advanced level application upgrades.
  • Analytical and Organizational Skills : Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and develop new processes and procedures documentation.
  • Effective Communication : Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers, stakeholders, and senior leadership, and demonstrated expertise in creating concise project reports for executive leadership.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration : Ability to work effectively with project resources across multiple departments and provide technical expertise within an assigned business or clinical unit/area.
  • Technical Proficiency : Substantial experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and Project, as well as the ability to perform feasibility studies, prepare detailed project designs, and create effective test plans.
  • Clinical Workflow Knowledge : Knowledge of clinical organization workflows and processes, which is essential for managing projects within clinical settings.
  • Technology Deployment : Experience with managing medium to large deployments of new technology solutions and creating Service Level Agreements for transition to normal operations.
  • Supervision and Support : Works with limited supervision

  • Developing business relationships and integrating activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.Fostering and maintaining good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.Providing leadership skills within team
  • Providing technical consulting support on projects or system issues.
  • Works with users to solve problems with available technology including hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Studies and analyzes system’s needs, trains users on software and hardware, handles troubleshooting, and provides quality assurance review of user systems.
  • Acts as a project manager, typically performs time estimates, and regularly reviews status of project.
  • Keeps abreast of technological developments and may install new hardware and software for user groups
  • Coordinates enterprise end-user routine adds, moves and changes
  • Ability to manage enterprise and advanced level application upgrades
  • Creates Service Level Agreements and transition to normal operations
  • Assist with research and development for new concepts
  • Ability to manage technical aspects and device installations associated with new building rollouts
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multi-unit relocations
  • Manages project vendors including project scope and timelines
  • Experience with mentoring and assisting project managers with project plans and advanced level routine requests
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating concise project reports for executive leadership
  • Experience in developing new processes and procedures documentation
  • Knowledge of clinical organization workflows and processes
  • Experience with managing medium to large deployments of new technology solutions
  • Proven ability to coordinate with cross functional teams to bring project to completion
