Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex technology projects from initiation through implementation and closure. The ideal candidate will manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, governance, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring successful delivery of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT project planning, execution, monitoring, implementation, and closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, and status reports.
• Establish project governance, facilitate executive decisions, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control.
• Coordinate cross-functional business and technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee requirements, QA, UAT, production readiness, deployment, and operational transition.
• Monitor financial performance, vendor deliverables, compliance requirements, and project KPIs.
• Drive organizational change, stakeholder acceptance, benefits realization, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing IT projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Experience with project planning, budgeting, governance, risk management, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver complex projects.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and/or Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating testing, implementation readiness, operational handoff, and project documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or an equivalent recognized project management credential.
• Experience with enterprise IT implementations, integrations, technology modernization, or transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, public-sector environments, or formal audit and procurement processes.
• Experience mentoring project managers or improving project management practices.
