Information Technology Manager, R2R/Cost Accounting
Oracle Record-to-Report/Cost Accounting Manager with 10+ years of experience specializing in Oracle EBS Finance R12 and Cost accounting. Strong expertise in implementation, rollouts, and enhancements for large-scale Medical Device company, ensuring compliance with industry validation procedures & regulations. Possesses a strong understanding of AR, AP, GL, Cost Accounting, Intercompany, SLA, Cash Management, FA, AGIS, Project Accounting Modules and technical aspects of Oracle systems, including PL/SQL, SQL, and integration technologies. Adept at leading requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, system customization, and testing, ensuring successful project delivery and post‑implementation support.
Key Skills and Experience
- Oracle R2R Modules: Deep understanding of E-Business R2R Modules (AR, AP, GL, Intercompany, SLA, Cash Management, FA, AGIS, Project Accounting) and Oracle Cost Accounting module.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle database administration; experience with integration technologies like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), 3rd party integrations & data migration.
- Functional Expertise: Strong functional understanding of subledgers feeding into general ledger, intercompany, core finance modules along with depth knowledge of cost updates, rolling up costs for discrete/shop floor manufacturing. Experience configuring core finance modules, cost groups, AGIS, Project Accounting. Proficient in requirements gathering, functional design, gap analysis and RCIE objects. Knowledge of EBS modules interlocked with R2R: order management, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory.
- SQL, BI Publisher, OTBI & PowerBI Reports: Build SQL queries, data extraction scripts, reporting automation queries, KPI dashboards for Finance data.
- Testing & Validation: Functional testing, UAT support, Change Control process.
- Compliance & Validation: Experience ensuring GxP, FDA, and other regulatory compliance in Life Sciences supply chain implementations.
Experience Highlights
- Provide support for all functionality and enhancements in the Oracle EBS R12.2 Financial modules including Cost Accounting and custom code changes, patches, configuration changes.
- Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Cost Management, Intercompany, SLA, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Collections, Inventory, Order Management, Project Costing, AGIS.
- Rolled out system configurations and enhancements, supported Accounting/FPNA Business area, including integrations with 3rd parties. Designed and built 3rd party integrations (Lockbox/Payments, Credit Cards, Bank statements).
- Collaborated with cross-functional and development teams during design, development, deployment of Oracle R12 E-Business Suite implementations. Led design, development, roll‑out strategies, cut‑over plans, end‑user training, documentation.
- Developed custom reports and dashboards using SQL, OTBI, BI Publisher.
- Provided training and change management support for business users, ensuring adoption.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of Oracle implementations from requirements gathering to post‑implementation support.
- Design, configure, and customize Oracle core Finance modules & support cost updates/cost rollups.
- Design and create functional specifications; work with technical team to create new/maintain customizations & provide support.
- Prepare, review and approve test plans; coordinate functional user testing.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle Core Finance modules including Cost Accounting.
- Support month‑end/year‑end closing procedures; support WIP to GL reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Stay up to date with latest Oracle EBS 12.2 technologies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Extensive experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 core finance, Intercompany and Costing modules, including implementation, configuration, customization & analytics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage clients at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; keen eye for detail and process optimization.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic consulting environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- MBA or CPA certification preferred.
Hybrid Role
This is a hybrid role; candidate will be based out of Princeton, NJ. Hybrid schedule: in‑office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays; remote on Mondays and Fridays.
Salary Pay Range
$109,250.00 – $149,500.00 USD Salary.
