Job summary

StaffBright is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead IT operations in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility. The role oversees a small technical team and partners with plant leadership to improve systems, processes, and technology across the operation.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT leader with manufacturing experience, capable of leading technical teams and supporting JIT/JIS production, MES, ERP, and plant IT systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership of technical teams.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience supporting JIT and/or JIS manufacturing environments.
• Strong experience with MES and manufacturing technology systems.
• Understanding of plant IT infrastructure, networking, Windows environments, and production support systems.
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Oversee plant IT operations including infrastructure, hardware, software, ERP, MES, networking, and production systems.
• Support critical JIT/JIS manufacturing operations by ensuring plant systems remain reliable.
• Partner with plant and global IT teams to improve processes, implement technology solutions, and support system development.
• Manage and support manufacturing systems including MES, SAP, EDI, WMS, and production applications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using technology.
• Support IT security, compliance, budgeting, projects, and technology standards across the plant.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Oversee plant IT operations including infrastructure, hardware, software, ERP, MES, networking, and production systems.
• Support critical JIT/JIS manufacturing operations by ensuring plant systems remain reliable and available.
• Partner with plant and global IT teams to improve processes, implement technology solutions, and support system development.

What We Need From You:
