Job summary

InfICON Inc. is seeking a Computer Science or Information Technology student for a summer IT internship in Syracuse.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting end users, maintaining hardware and software, and contributing to IT systems across a global organization. You'll troubleshoot issues, assist with system administration, and learn from seasoned professionals while building practical IT skills for your career.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited college pursuing Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a technical field.
• Transcript required as part of interview/screening process.
• Experience with personal computers.
• Networking experience is a plus.
• Understanding of Windows 10 or higher.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot computer issues.
• Strong written and oral communication; customer service oriented.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Enrolled in accredited college pursuing Bachelor's or Associate's degree in technical field. Students and recent graduates will need to provide a copy of their transcript as part of the interviewing and screening process.

Experience and knowledge with personal computers

Networking experience is a plus

Understanding of Windows 10 or higher

Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications

Ability to troubleshoot computer issues

Must be able to take direction well and be a self-starter

Strong communication skills both written and oral

Must be customer service-oriented and learn techniques that best serve clients

Additional Information

The expected salary for this position is $18.00 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
