INFICON invites a Computer Science or IT student to join our Information Technology Department for a summer internship in New York. You will provide hands-on technical support to end users, help maintain hardware, software, and IT systems, and contribute to system administration tasks.

You will learn from experienced professionals, gain real-world IT experience, and develop skills in troubleshooting, documentation, and project support in a global organization.

Qualifications

Job Description

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Enrolled in accredited college pursuing Bachelor's or Associate's degree in technical field. Students and recent graduates will need to provide a copy of their transcript as part of the interviewing and screening process.

Experience and knowledge with personal computers

Networking experience is a plus

Understanding of Windows 10 or higher

Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications

Ability to troubleshoot computer issues

Must be able to take direction well and be a self-starter

Strong communication skills both written and oral

Must be customer service-oriented and learn techniques that best serve clients

Additional Information

The expected salary for this position is $18.00 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
