Job summary

LX Pantos Americas is expanding its IT asset operations in New Jersey. This contract role focuses on provisioning, deploying, and managing laptops and IT equipment while ensuring compliance and efficiency.

The role includes configuring Windows PCs, maintaining images and drivers, and supporting procurement and inventory processes for upcoming hires and replacements.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience handling walk-in, phone, and email requests.
• Troubleshooting to minimize downtime across IT assets.
• Experience documenting processes and maintaining IT asset records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by responding to requests via walk-in, phone, and email.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Install/configure Windows PCs, software, and printers; maintain images and drivers.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement best practices; keep documentation updated.
• Support procurement, asset registration, and inventory management of laptops and IT equipment.
• Manage equipment issuance, retrieval, and redistribution for new hires and departures.

Job description

The scale of IT asset (laptop) operations is growing, leading to a continuous expansion of procurement, deployment, and management tasks. Workloads related to initial setup and asset management—driven by new hires and equipment replacements—are on the rise.

Current IT members lack the resources to handle asset management alongside their system operations and project responsibilities. We aim to improve operational efficiency and reduce the time required for equipment issuance and retrieval by utilizing dedicated personnel. There is a need to strengthen accurate IT asset management and ensure compliance with security policies.

This initiative aims to enable core IT personnel to focus on system operations and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to technical assistance requests via walk-in, phone, and email
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize system downtime
• Install and configure Windows PCs, software, and printers
• Maintain images, drivers, software, and scripts within the Windows imaging system
• Collaborate with other IT teams to implement best practices
• Conduct research using available resources to resolve issues
• Triage and escalete issues to appropriate teams when necessary
• Keep documentation up to date for future reference and compliance
• Support for the procurement, asset registration, and inventory management of laptops and IT equipment.
• Installation of Windows and configuration of standard environments for new and replacement equipment.
• Microsoft Entra Join and installation/application of security software.
• Management of equipment issuance, retrieval, and redistribution for new hires and departing employees.
• Maintenance of IT asset inventory and asset management documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned

This is a contract position. You will not be an employee of LX Pantos Americas. You will be an employee of a third-party agency.
