Job summary

ManpowerGroup, the parent company of Experis, seeks an Information Technology Disaster Recovery Lead to drive ITDR across Global and US regions. This role requires strong process orientation and clear communication for continuous improvement.

You will own DR exercise planning, coordinate with stakeholders, and lead gap analyses to enhance resilience with enterprise-scale initiatives. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Experience in DR test planning and execution, with a focus on improving DR capabilities.
• Experience with IT Disaster Recovery and/or Business Continuity, including leading through disaster scenarios.
• Knowledge of IT Service Continuity concepts and ITIL practices.
• Ability to develop business cases for automation to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and cut costs.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Our client, Information Technology is seeking a Information Technology Disaster Recovery Lead to join their team. As a Information Technology Disaster Recovery Lead, you will be part of the IT organization supporting IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) teams. The ideal candidate will have strong process orientation, clear communication, and a continuous improvement mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Act as ITDR program manager and lead IT Disaster Recovery activities across Global and US areas.
• Drive ITDR goals by owning DR exercise planning, execution, and post-test activities, including coordination of scheduling and monthly status meetings with key business stakeholders.
• Advocate for IT Disaster Recovery Plans that include recovery procedures and application configurations needed to restore business operations at the disaster recovery site or alternate region.
• Perform gap analysis for applications in scope to identify resilience inefficiencies, then propose and execute initiatives to close resilience gaps.
• Monitor and report ITDR team performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Objectives (SLO), while managing ITDR team data, metadata, and documentation.

What's Needed?

• Expertise in DR test planning and execution, with a focus on continuously improving the organization’s DR capabilities.
• Experience with IT Disaster Recovery and/or Business Continuity, including leading moderately complex technology organizations through actual and practiced disaster scenarios.
• Good knowledge of IT Service Continuity concepts, including familiarity with ITIL practices.
• Good understanding of ITDR automation tools (preferred) and the ability to develop business cases for automation to improve efficiency, reduce risk, increase resiliency, and reduce costs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels; ability to prioritize, delegate, and foster high-performance teamwork in a customer-service driven environment.
