Summary:

As a Business Analyst at City IT, you will bridge complex business needs with technology solutions. You’ll collaborate with Delivery Leads, Architects, and global teams to shape and deliver impactful projects that support our business goals.

Our Business Analysts are embedded within cross-functional IT teams, acting as trusted partners to ensure clear goal definition and successful delivery. You will focus on delivering value, improving outcomes, and solving real business problems through analysis and collaboration.

We value flexibility, curiosity, and asking the right questions to understand the root of issues.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Identify and understand the complex needs of the business, colleagues, and stakeholders globally.
2. Translate needs into requirements with our Delivery Lead and Architect, then communicate plans with global IT teams to ensure successful delivery and value addition.
3. Promote continuous improvement within the Business Analysis Practice by documenting and future-proofing technology and processes.
4. Support the development of Business Analysis maturity across the organization.
5. Build relationships with the business and work within agile teams as part of the IT function.

Education/Experience:

• 2–3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in a professional setting.
• Proven success in aligning business processes with IT solutions and delivering projects.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
• Proficient in tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience supporting digital transformation or modernization projects is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Skilled in managing business requirements from inception to implementation.
• Able to lead workshops and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to influence change and deliver business value through process improvements.
• Flexible, pragmatic, and adaptable in methodology and project delivery.

Travel:

• Primarily remote, with occasional travel to Dallas offices.

Interview Process:

• Initial screening with Talent Acquisition.
• Microsoft Teams interviews with the Lead Business Analyst and BA Practice Lead.
• Further discussions with Global Heads of Domain and the BA Practice.
