IT Business Analyst (Candidate should be residing in New Jersey)

Job Duration:

5+ months with possibility of extension up to a year, possibility of conversion

Pay rate:

$63/hr. on w2

Job Description:

• This position is a direct report to the Sr IT Program Manager and has sound knowledge of business processes in the specific area of technology enablement.
• The Business Analyst is responsible for business systems related fields and how they align with user needs. Documents requirements, establishes Product objectives, and determines strategy for implementing systems related fields to achieve business goals, including gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and working closely with business functions to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met.

Responsibilities:

• Own functional specifications and serve as a functional expert with a deep understanding of business needs on product capabilities by defining business requirements, performing quality assurance, and defining reporting and alerting requirements.
• Own the Business Case Challenge Team (BCCT) development process for the portfolio by working on Product, schedule, estimate, and benefits with Product teams.
• Work on analytical projects which may include continuous improvement projects; data extraction; technical/financial review and analysis; compiling, monitoring, and analyzing performance metrics toward achievement of scorecard Clients; reviewing and revising documentation, preparation of presentations, and other ad-hoc assignments.
• Align and support with the strategic direction of the broader IT organization.
• Contribute to the strategic vision/plans and identify process enhancements that improve customer experience and simplify the current landscape.
• Keeps informed of technical and managerial advances in IT, including leading the introduction of best practices.
• Oversees compliance with cost, schedule, and budget.
• Analyses performance dashboards and scorecards to quantify and measure outcomes and identify persistent problems.
• Develops reporting/dashboards to provide portfolio visibility to business management.
• Develops reviews, evaluates, and formulates project plans, schedules, and budgets.
