Information Technology / Assurance (IT / IA) Specialist III

General Dynamics is seeking an IT Assurance Specialist to support Department of Defense (DoD) agencies within Special Access Programs (SAPs). The role involves providing operational support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities, including configuration management, security monitoring, vulnerability analysis, and system support.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Establishing and maintaining complex operational software controls and system interfaces
2. Managing file servers, firewalls, network access, and security systems
3. Troubleshooting system anomalies and preparing systems for operational use
4. Reviewing and updating authorization packages and conducting cybersecurity inspections
5. Identifying vulnerabilities and implementing countermeasures
6. Ensuring proper operation, maintenance, and disposal of information systems in accordance with security policies
7. Supporting external clients and managing account activities
