The Oregon Judicial Department (OJD) is seeking an Information Technology Associate to provide on-site support across multiple court locations. You will respond to in-person, remote, phone, and Teams requests, troubleshoot a wide range of issues, and work with vendors to resolve hardware and software problems.
Responsibilities include configuring and installing equipment, managing security access, and maintaining asset inventories.

The Multnomah County Circuit Court is hiring an Information Technology Associate.
In this role…
You will be responsible for on-site support. Respond to requests for assistance and answer questions in-person, remote, phone, and Microsoft Teams. Research and resolve a wide range of court technical support issues. Configure, install, and troubleshoot mobile and desktop equipment, including but not limited to computers, printers, scanners, monitors, public kiosks, and displays at all court locations. Work with vendors and manufacturers to troubleshoot installed hardware and software. Manage security access for new and existing court staff and judges.
Manage asset and annual IT technical inventory. Document any changes to the inventory process by recording disposed equipment and new equipment purchases.
Configure and install Voice-over-IP (VOIP) phone systems, conference room equipment, and Cisco Finesse and Jabber unified communications software.
You will be responsible for providing services during an official closure due to hazardous environmental conditions or an inoperable facility.
Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.
This is a full-time position, with a rotating work schedule to cover multiple court locations. The regular schedule for this position is 3:00PM - 12:00AM, Wednesday through Sunday. Assigned tasks are re-assigned every 3 months. The scheduled hours and work locations for this position are assigned by the IT Desktop Support Supervisor and subject to change based upon the needs of the department and organization.
Multnomah County Circuit Court does not provide parking for the central courthouse or justice center staff. Daily parking is available across SW 1st St from the central courthouse (monthly parking is limited). Another option is the Douglas Garage at 1835 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97204. Parking cost is $165/month and is a half-mile from the courthouse and justice center.
You will be subject to a criminal background check if you are a finalist. Adverse results are evaluated on a case-by‑case basis and may result in disqualification if the circumstances are directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the position.
