Job summary

The New York Attorney General's Office is seeking an Information Technology Architect 1 to lead the Unified Communications team and oversee UCaaS and CCaaS platforms. The role focuses on deploying modern communication tools integrated with Microsoft 365 and ensuring robust security and reliability across the agency.

Candidate should have extensive UCaaS experience, familiarity with CCaaS platforms, and strong networking and cloud security knowledge.

Qualifications

• Six years of information technology experience, with significant UCaaS exposure.
• Experience supporting UCaaS platforms (Zoom, RingCentral, 8x8, etc.).
• Experience supporting CCaaS platforms (NICE, Genesys, RingCentral, etc.).
• Experience with Office 365 tenant architecture, administration and support.
• Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, QoS, SIP).
• Knowledge of cloud networking and security principles.

Responsibilities

The role involves developing, deploying, and maintaining modern communication platforms integrated with Microsoft 365, managing a team of UCaaS professionals, standardizing communication systems across the agency, and ensuring security and reliability of all communications infrastructure.

Key qualifications:

• Six years of information technology experience, four of which must be in UCaaS platforms
