Overview
Hepburn and Sons LLC is seeking an Information Systems Technician with experience in performing comprehensive component and system level maintenance for shipboard IT systems. The work is performed at the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) in Wallops Island, VA. The SCSC is located on a barrier island on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and is a tenant of the NASA's Wallops Flight Facility.

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will perform comprehensive equipment and system level maintenance on the (CANES) AN/USQ-208(V)/Global Command & Control (GCCS) System
- Provide system/equipment configuration and operational support for all deployed baseline AEGIS and SSDS variants
- Schedule planned maintenance actions utilizing the SKED program in accordance with the Navy's Maintenance Material Management (3M) system and also be responsible for documenting all maintenance actions, including repair part requisitions, using the OMNS-NG program
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Seven (7) years demonstrated experience assessing, troubleshooting, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance for the alignment, adjustment, removal and replacement of Lowest Replaceable Units and utilizes a computer matrix exchange terminal to set up and operate various ASCOMM systems, HF, UHF and satellite voice circuits, teletype circuits, and Data Link 11
- Experience performing advanced level networking system management, administration and maintenance support to the Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) AN/USQ-208(V) system
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field/discipline; or 4 additional years of demonstrated experience as outline above can be substituted for a degree
- PQS 301 qualification is required. If selected candidate is not PQS 301 qualified on or before hire date, he/she must be willing and able to obtain PQS 301 qualification within 3 months of employment
