Qualifikationen

• 7+ years' experience as a SE/ISSO on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience in at least two areas: security tools, hardware/software security, communication protocols, and encryption techniques/tools.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline is required.

Aufgaben

• Maintain operational security posture and ensure security policies and procedures are followed.
• Assist with management of security aspects and day-to-day security operations of the system.
• Evaluate security solutions to meet security requirements for processing classified information.
• Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation.
• Provide configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Manage changes to the system and assess the security impact of those changes.
• Prepare and review System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, SCTMs.
• Support security authorization activities in compliance with NISCAP and DIACAP.
• Plan and coordinate IT security programs and policies.
• Obtain C&A for ISs under their purview.
• Provide support for an organization’s information assurance program.
