Bow Wave LLC in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer to serve as Task Lead and, when needed, fill in as an ISSO for additional systems across federal sites in Washington DC, Quantico VA, Huntsville AL, and Clarksburg WV.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years as an ISSO/ISSE in a cleared facility, 9+ years in CS or cybersecurity, and hands-on experience with Nessus, Splunk, Guardium, WebInspect, and NMAP; a BS or higher in CS/IT is preferred.

Competenze

• Minimum 7 years as ISSO/ISSE in a cleared facility.
• Experience with DoD IAM III or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Familiar with security tooling and risk management processes.

Mansioni

• Serve as Task Lead for security initiatives.
• Occasionally fill in as ISSO for additional systems.
• Support security assessments and incident response as needed.

Work Description

• Serve as Task Lead
• Required to fill in as an ISSO for additional systems (as needed)
• Locations include Washington DC, Quantico VA, Huntsville AL, Clarksburg WV

Required Experience/Skills/Certifications

• Possess at least one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Information Security Professional (GISP), or the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or other certifications exemplifying skill sets such as those described in DoD Instruction 8570.1 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III proficiency.
• Possesses at least 7 years' experience serving as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) or Information System Security Engineer at a cleared facility.
• Minimum of 9 years of work experience in a computer science or Cybersecurity related field.
• Familiarity with the use and operation of security tools including Tenable Nessus and/or Security Center, Splunk, IBM Guardium, HP WebInspect, Network Mapper (NMAP), and/or similar applications
• Possess a bachelor's and/or advanced degree in computer science, business management, or IT related discipline is preferred.
