Job summary

Bow Wave LLC is seeking a Task Lead/ISSO to support security operations at multiple sites, including Washington DC and other listed locations. A TS clearance is required to apply, and you will lead information security efforts for assigned systems.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years as ISSO/ISSE at cleared facilities, 9+ years in CS/cybersecurity, and certifications such as CISSP, GISP, or CASP/IAM Level III, plus hands-on experience with Nessus, Splunk, Guardium, WebInspect, and NMAP.

Qualifications

• Possesses one of CISSP, GISP, CASP or IAM Level III proficiency.
• At least 7 years as ISSO/ISSO or ISSE at a cleared facility.
• At least 9 years in computer science or cybersecurity related field.
• Familiar with security tools listed (Nessus, Splunk, Guardium, WebInspect, NMAP).
• Bachelor’s or higher in CS/IT or related discipline preferred.

Work Description:

• Serve as Task Lead
• Required to fill in as an ISSO for additional systems (as needed)
• Locations include Washington DC, Quantico VA, Huntsville AL, Clarksburg WV

Required Experience/Skills/Certifications:

• Possess at least one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Information Security Professional (GISP), or the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or other certifications exemplifying skill sets such as those described in DoD Instruction 8570.1 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III proficiency.
• Possesses at least 7 years' experience serving as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) or Information System Security Engineer at a cleared facility.
• Minimum of 9 years of work experience in a computer science or Cybersecurity related field.
• Familiarity with the use and operation of security tools including Tenable Nessus and/or Security Center, Splunk, IBM Guardium, HP WebInspect, Network Mapper (NMAP), and/or similar applications
• Possess a bachelor's and/or advanced degree in computer science, business management, or IT related discipline is preferred.
