The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to provide comprehensive management support for an organization's Information Assurance (IA) program. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the security of information systems by overseeing the proposal, coordination, implementation, and enforcement of security policies, standards, and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the operational security posture of an Information System, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Work closely with Information System Security Engineers (ISSEs) and Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) to evaluate security solutions and assess their effectiveness in protecting classified information.
• Manage vulnerability and risk assessments and contribute to security authorization activities, including preparation and review of System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, and Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages.
• Oversee configuration management (CM) processes, ensuring security software, hardware, and firmware are up-to-date and secure.
• Assess the security impact of system changes and support activities in line with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).

Qualifications:

Required:

• Current Active TS/SCI with POLY
• Ten (10) years of experience in security authorization, including knowledge of security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, or encryption techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an additional four (4) years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM II; certifications such as CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP.

Desired:

• Familiarity with Network Security Services and CISO processes and procedures.
