- Experience with encryption techniques and tools.
- Top Secret clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- CISSP certification is required or preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ISSO/ISSM duties across Information Systems and RMF processes.

- Maintain documentation and records on security devices and systems; coordinate CM activities.
- Ensure continuous monitoring and remediation actions from CM results and POA&Ms.
- Collaborate with System Owner and team to maintain compliance and security posture.

Maintain responsibility for all Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) duties in support of Information Systems, CSS Risk Management Framework, IC Directive, 503 Practitioners manual, and the Committee on National Security Systems Instruction, and 1253 security controls. Serve as an advisor on all matters, technical and otherwise. Assist in the evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information and assist with the CM for information system security software, hardware, and firmware. Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation and maintain records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, intelligent hubs, and network switches, including system upgrades. Work in coordination with the System Owner, be responsible for all continuous monitoring, and ensure systems are compliant with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts and IC Vulnerability Management. Ensure remediation actions based on the results of CM activities, assessment of risk, and outstanding items in the POA&M are implemented. Work successfully in a team environment.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
