Leidos’ High Fidelity Simulation Business Area is responsible for architecting and implementing large-scale System of Systems solutions in support of world-class simulation, training, and analysis products for the US Navy. Leidos is seeking an energetic, motivated, self-starting cybersecurity professional to support the development of naval training and simulation systems such as CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer.

This position is part of the HFS cyber security team, responsible for maintaining and improving the security posture of information systems supporting US Naval training systems. Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing and implementing cybersecurity plans and goals, supporting the organization’s cybersecurity mission, values, and culture.
2. Managing Information Systems (ISs), maintaining System Security Policies (SSP), creating and updating Plans of Actions & Milestones (POA&M), and ensuring security measures are in compliance with SSP.
3. Analyzing vulnerabilities from scanning and monitoring tools.
4. Coordinating with DCSA representatives and ISSOs to ensure compliance and system integrity, assisting with security assessments.
5. Managing Change and Control Boards, documenting meeting minutes, and providing cybersecurity feedback on changes.
6. Assisting with Authorization and Assessment processes across multiple sites.
7. Conducting security briefings for personnel regarding rules, responsibilities, and acceptable use.

**Required Education:**
BA/BS degree or equivalent certifications (e.g., CISSP, RHCSA) compliant with 8570.1M / 8140 standards.

**Required Experience:**
At least 10+ years of relevant experience, including ISSM or ISSO roles, with Linux OS experience (command-line proficiency, file system knowledge, vulnerability scanning and remediating), familiarity with EMASS.

**Desired Experience:**
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Portfolio, Service Desk.
