Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Demonstrate 3–5 years of experience in system administration, desktop support, or similar IT infrastructure roles.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems, including virtual and physical desktop environments.
  • Obtain CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent certification) within 90 days of employment.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

Raytheon Advance Products Solution (APS) is seeking a proactive Information Systems Security Administrator who excels at delivering fast, reliable technical assistance in person, over the phone, and electronically. In this role with the Global ISR Sensors & Software business unit you will support and maintain both virtual and physical desktop environments across Windows and Linux systems, perform routine maintenance such as security updates and patching, and manage hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle. You will provide user training, create documentation, administer accounts and permissions, and monitor system performance to keep operations running smoothly. You will also work closely with Information Systems Security Engineers to deploy and validate new IT and security solutions, while managing your workload independently within established priorities, timelines, and service level expectations. This position will be ONSITE in WESTFORD, MA. No relocation will be available for this position.

What You Will Do :

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
