Job description

Join to apply for the Information Systems Cost Estimator (Senior) role at Torch Technologies, Inc.

This position is located in Kettering, OH (Dayton, WPAFB) and supports the EPASS GB contract. The role involves supporting the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate, focusing on the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Initiative (MROi).

The key responsibilities include:

1. Using routine cost estimating methods such as analogy, engineering, scientific methodology, and extrapolation.
2. Assessing the impact of various factors on costs related to weapon systems.
3. Analyzing all elements affecting costs for projects of limited scope.
4. Evaluating contractor financial data using EVM measures.
5. Using the ACEIT Tool Suite for program estimates, mandatory for the BES Directorate.
6. Conducting analytical processes including problem setup, data collection, analysis, and conclusion drawing.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of relevant experience, or 15 years of related experience with proper certifications.
• Experience with the ACEIT Suite is essential.
• Ability to perform tasks independently and oversee junior personnel.
• Advanced knowledge in the technical/professional discipline.
• U.S. Citizenship and active Tier 1/NACI clearance are required.

The position is full-time, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8-5. Travel is less than 10%. No relocation assistance is provided. The job is contingent upon contract award.
