Monitors alarm systems, fire detection, electronic access control, closed circuit television, GPS tracking and other automated building systems to deter and protect against fire, theft, burglary, vandalism, and all illegal and unauthorized activity.

Position Overview

The Security Systems Specialist is a highly technical, customer‑facing role responsible for monitoring, managing, and responding to security events across 400+ locations. This position operates within a fast‑paced Security Operations Center (SOC), requiring strong multitasking skills, professionalism, and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.

The ideal candidate is well‑spoken, friendly, and comfortable assisting employees with alarm, access, and security system issues. Prior experience in dispatch, operations centers, or security monitoring is highly preferred.

Shift & Schedule

This role requires willingness to work overnight hours.

Shift

• 6:45 PM – 6:45 AM
• Three 12‑hour night shifts + one 6‑hour shift weekly

Rotation

• Thursday–Sunday one month
• Monday–Thursday the next month
• Monthly rotation between the two schedules ("swamp back and forth")

Team Structure

• 3‑person team per shift in the Operations Center
• Potential to move to day shift based on seniority and future vacancies.

• Maintain situational awareness and elevate issues appropriately
• Follow industry‑standard security protocols and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with team members to ensure 24/7 operational coverage
