Eastern New Mexico University seeks an Information Specialist to serve as the primary contact for students, visitors, and staff, delivering friendly, accurate campus information and supporting administrative tasks.
The role requires learning campus resources, coordinating room reservations, handling inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins, and supporting events with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.
Purpose and Scope Under limited supervision, the Information Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for students, visitors, and callers. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing accurate campus information, and supporting administrative functions that enhance student and guest experiences, which require extensive knowledge of campus activities.

Physical Demand and Working Conditions: Work is sedentary in nature and at times requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a consistent amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Work is performed during normal business hours, with evenings and weekends.
