Job summary

Qualifications

• MLS in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Two years of professional public library experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Evergreen or other ILS desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with patrons and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Information Services.
• Select, evaluate and maintain adult nonfiction, reference, genealogy and local history collections.
• Plan and promote programs and exhibits for adults.
• Provide readers' advisory and guidance on digital resources and databases.
• Supervise and evaluate support staff; train staff in research tools.
• Maintain statistics and manage museum pass service.
• Collaborate on library website and catalog with the technology team.
