Enloe Medical Center is seeking an Information Services Epic Training Intern who will provide training and customer support for the Epic electronic health record system. The intern will lead instruction for users and assist during go-live support.
Candidates should be enrolled in a healthcare-related training program and possess strong communication skills. Benefits include a $0 premium medical plan and a generous PTO plan.
ENL Information Tech/Service Compensation range: $18.35 - $24.78. Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience.
Shift: Days. Shift length: 8 Hours. Days off: Fixed (Saturday & Sunday). Hours per pay period: up to 47.

The Information Services Epic Training Intern may perform a variety of duties including providing excellent customer support and service for Epic training. They will be responsible for accurate, timely and detailed recording of Epic issues and resolutions in the IS ticketing system. The intern will be responsible for learning assigned Epic module functionality, learn end-user workflows and demonstrate a clear understanding of the business or clinical requirements of various user groups. The Intern will deliver in-classroom instruction for assigned application roles of the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system to a diverse audience of end users including existing users, as well as new employees and contractors during employee/contractor onboarding.

The intern is also accountable for readiness and scheduling of training rooms. The intern will be responsible for developing training materials, maintaining existing training materials, as well as participating in the development and administration of online eLearning materials. There may be other duties as assigned by the Training Manager.
This position requires successful completion of Epic credentialling process which includes a 3–4-week training program on the application role(s), to include “teach back” methodology, successful completion of a teaching presentation to a panel, and successful completion of a Credentialing exam. Travel is required to other Enloe sites as needed for meetings and classes.
