Job summary

US Bank is seeking an Information Security Risk Analyst II to evaluate complex security findings and manage risk across enterprise applications and infrastructure. You will independently manage findings from intake to remediation, analyzing risk, ownership, and control effectiveness while communicating risk to stakeholders.

The role requires strong analytical skills, ability to convey technical risk to non-technical audiences, and collaboration across teams to drive remediation and governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in information security, cybersecurity risk management, or related field.
• Experience performing information security risk analysis or assessments.
• Experience evaluating findings and determining business impact.
• Knowledge of enterprise applications, infrastructure, controls, and defense-in-depth concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate security observations for legitimacy, severity, and business impact.
• Analyze architectures, infrastructure, controls, and defense-in-depth strategies.
• Manage a portfolio of security findings through the risk lifecycle.
• Map findings to security policies, standards, and ownership.
• Identify application or technology owners responsible for remediation.
• Collaborate with owners to develop corrective action plans.
• Translate security issues into business and technology risk.
• Maintain risk documentation and governance through closure.
• Facilitate cross-functional remediation discussions.
• Work independently on complex risk scenarios with minimal oversight.
