Job summary

FireKeepers Casino Hotel is seeking a senior Information Security leader to govern our security program. You will define strategy, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance across IT and operations in a fast-paced gaming environment.

The role reports to the Chief Information Officer and leads security initiatives, vulnerability management, and governance activities to protect sensitive data and ensure secure service delivery on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information security, computer science, information technology, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive information security experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years leading security initiatives, projects, teams, or programs.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and gaming industry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Information Security strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Generate and maintain the IT security risk register.
• Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and control frameworks.
• Provide executive-level reporting on security posture and risk exposure.
• Oversee vulnerability management lifecycle and third-party risk evaluations.
• Lead security incident response, tabletop exercises, and governance forums.
• Ensure controls meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
