About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking an ISSO I.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of sensitive system cybersecurity requirements and Privacy Act requirements.
• Implement and evaluate security controls based on NIST SP 800 series, Risk Management Framework, and FedRAMP.
• Assess system, network, or infrastructure security controls against FISMA, FIPS, and NIST guidelines.
• Knowledge of DHS Information Security Policy Directives and Handbooks is preferred.
• Apply standard IA concepts, practices, and procedures, working independently to solve problems.
• Possess specialized experience with at least two of the following: vulnerability scanning, operating system and network knowledge, information security principles, application / database / network security.
• Assess and weigh current and evolving security threats.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to find optimal solutions.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of cybersecurity & FISMA experience.
• Master’s degree with 4 years of cybersecurity & FISMA experience.
• Additional 5 years of cybersecurity & FISMA experience may be considered.

Skills and Certifications

Must obtain one of the following certifications within six months of hire:

• CISSP (required, may allow 45 days after hire)
• CASP
• CISM
• SSCP
• CISA
• GISP
• Other approved certifications.

Additional Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• No physical requirements for this position.
• Location: Northern VA / DC Metro Area, with on-site work 2 days a week, otherwise remote.
