Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA seeks an Information System Security Officer 2 (ISSO) to support continuous monitoring and authorization efforts for multiple classified information systems under the direction of the ISSM. You will perform a variety of cybersecurity duties, update SSPs, manage changes, and participate in security training and awareness.

Required are 3–5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, and an IAM I/IAT II certification or higher; a TS/SCI with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• IAM I/IAT II certification or higher.
• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience auditing systems using PS/BASH scripts with ISSMs to create POA&Ms.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM and assume ISSM duties in their absence.
• Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of per security policies.
• Attend required technical and security training.
• Coordinate changes with the ISSM and AO/DAO prior to the change.
• Monitor system recovery and ensure security features are correctly restored.
• Maintain current security documentation for properly authorized personnel.
• Conduct Audits and Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) activities.
