Job summary

STOPSO is seeking an Information Security Officer to support a federal client, serving as ISSO for the FTC CDPSS environment. The role provides cybersecurity leadership, compliance support, and security oversight across the cloud analytics environment.

You will coordinate ATO activities, perform continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and collaborate with program management, engineering, and data teams to embed security into all solution components.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 5 years supporting federal cloud-security initiatives.
• Direct experience with Azure cloud environments.
• Experience supporting ATO activities and continuous monitoring.
• Certifications CISSP, CCSP, or CompTIA Cloud+ (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Support FTC security policies and requirements.
• Coordinate authorization activities (ATO/ATU).
• Maintain system security documentation.
• Lead weekly vulnerability scans, monthly security reporting, and security metrics reporting.
• Manage audit artifacts.
• Lead incident response activities.
• Support forensic investigations.
• Track and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, and data teams to integrate security across all solution components.
• Serve as ISSO and primary contact for audits and compliance reviews.
