Job summary

R&K Solutions is seeking an Information Security and IT Operations Manager to lead the organization’s information security program while managing day-to-day IT operations. You will ensure systems, networks, data, devices, and users are supported, secured, monitored, and maintained.

This role combines cybersecurity leadership, compliance oversight, infrastructure management, help desk coordination, vendor management, incident response, and strategic planning to align services with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years' experience managing IT operations, systems administration, cybersecurity, or related areas.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of information security, risk management, access control, vulnerability management, incident response, and compliance.
• Experience with AWS and Microsoft 365 environments, Windows, identity management, and networking.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain the required government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise IT and security staff, contractors, vendors, and support resources.
• Establish priorities for IT operations and security initiatives based on business impact and risk.
• Report IT performance, security posture, risks, incidents, and improvement plans to leadership.
• Support budgeting, planning, purchasing, and lifecycle replacement of IT assets.
• Provide technical and security guidance for new systems, releases, and infrastructure changes.
• Promote a culture of security, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and enforce information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Lead or coordinate security assessments, audits, and evidence collection.
• Oversee vulnerability management, patching, monitoring, and remediation.
• Coordinate security incident response activities, including investigation and containment.
• Oversee daily IT operations, user support, systems administration, and network operations.
• Manage IT assets inventories, licenses, renewals, and vendor contracts.
• Evaluate and implement IT tools, systems, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
