Job summary

Primerica in Duluth, GA, is seeking an Information Security Analyst 1 to participate in security efforts designing, implementing and supporting IS technologies to protect data and systems. You will work with senior team members to define security requirements across programs, applications, and processes.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, exposure to a broad range of security technologies, and opportunities to grow in cyber security disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 2-3 years related experience.
• Ability to research, analyze and resolve complex problems with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and advance their skills to assume more responsibilities.
• Experience in the vulnerability assessment lifecycle, Network Security or Cyber Forensic investigations is a plus.
• Microsoft data governance, security, and compliance.
• Security of business data on removable storage devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and support for endpoint security and data loss prevention solutions.
• Assist in the preparation of log reports for management review.
• Participate in Vulnerability and Threat Management program.
• Assist senior team members with data collection for root cause analysis on security incidents.
• Apply effective communication to translate complex technical security deficiencies into business risks.
• Assist on proof-of-concept activities for innovation initiatives to ensure coverage of information security requirements.
• Perform security-related duties as requested.

About this Position

The Information Security Analyst 1 will participate in security efforts to design, implement, administer, and support IS technologies and processes to ensure data and systems are adequately protected. The candidate will be exposed to a broad range of information security technologies and processes. A working knowledge of cyber security is a plus. This position will work with senior members of the information security team to define security requirements for programs, applications, processes, and new systems in line with the enterprise information security architecture.

Salary range

between $50K - $57K Annually

Qualifications and Skills
