Job summary

MGIC, based in Milwaukee, WI, seeks an Information Security professional to drive vulnerability management, risk assessments, and security monitoring across enterprise systems. This role requires transforming MGIC’s security program and ensuring 24/7 availability to protect sensitive information assets.

You will develop security architecture, manage incident response support, and contribute to disaster recovery planning, while leveraging tools like Snyk and Rapid7.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Security or Information Assurance.
• Additional years of related work experience (2) or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports security system administration and vulnerability management.
• Performs risk and security control assessments and recommends remedial action.
• Develops and maintains security architecture, plans, processes and procedures across the project lifecycle.
• Provides technical authority and guidance to grow and evolve the Vulnerability Management Program.
• Participates in disaster recovery/business continuity planning and enterprise projects.
• Creates and consolidates vulnerability and incident reports from multiple sources.
