Global Payments is seeking an Information Security Analyst in Columbus, GA to strengthen security posture across the enterprise. You will help deliver security solutions, manage risk, and improve monitoring and response capabilities for payment systems.

Working with seasoned security professionals, you will influence defense capabilities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement while aligning with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, including vulnerability management and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, authentication, authorization and encryption concepts.
• Ability to analyze information and apply established security practices to support business and technology objectives.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the organization’s security posture by delivering and optimizing security solutions to reduce risk.
• Drive security outcomes through implementation and enhancement of security controls, prioritizing threats and vulnerabilities.
• Influence cyber defense by deploying and utilizing security technologies for monitoring, detection and response.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating emerging security trends and aligning with standards and compliance.
• Support rapid incident response by assisting investigations, security reviews and remediation activities.
