Job summary

Talentify is hiring an Information Security Engineer to strengthen and operate a complex enterprise security environment in Philadelphia. This hands-on role covers security engineering, monitoring, vulnerability reduction, incident response, identity, endpoint, network, cloud, and data protection technologies.

You will deploy and maintain security platforms, manage controls (firewalls, EDR, SIEM, IAM, DLP), review events, and lead vulnerability remediation.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years in security engineering/operations or related field.
• Hands-on with enterprise security tools and controls.
• Deep technical knowledge in multiple security domains.
• Experience with firewalls, EDR, SIEM, IAM and zero-trust.
• Experience investigating events and remediation efforts.
• Security standards knowledge such as NIST, ISO, SOC 2.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, maintain, and enhance security platforms across multiple environments.
• Administer controls like firewalls, EDR, SIEM, IAM, DLP, and zero-trust tech.
• Review events, investigate, and respond to incidents.
• Support containment, recovery, and root-cause analysis.
• Lead vulnerability activities from scanning to remediation.
• Assess security impact of changes and suggest improvements.
• Stay updated on threats and add safeguards as needed.
• Automate security tasks and reporting via scripting.
• Lead security projects and support wider tech initiatives.
• Maintain procedures and materials for audits and reviews.
