Job summary

Talentify is seeking a security-focused professional to join our Houston team, supporting enterprise security operations across endpoint, network, identity, cloud, and applications. You will triage alerts, investigate incidents, and help implement detection logic within the SIEM while coordinating with IT and application teams to embed security into daily operations.

The role also involves facilitating vulnerability management, cloud identity controls, email security, and bug bounty processes,

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of information security experience across endpoint, network, cloud, and identity domains.
• Hands‑on with enterprise EDR platforms including tuning, automated response, and live response capabilities.
• Experience with NGFW platforms and remote access VPN.
• Experience with cloud-delivered ZTNA and secure web gateway platforms.
• Experience with enterprise SIEM platforms and basic detection rule development.
• Understanding of cloud identity and access management incl. conditional access and MFA.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management platforms and SLA‑based remediation tracking.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS v4.0 and AI adoption security risks.
• Ability to automate tasks using Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain security controls across endpoint, network, identity, cloud, and application layers.
• Triage security alerts, investigate incidents, and assist containment and remediation.
• Support incident response across IR phases and maintain incident playbooks.
• Assist with building and tuning SIEM detection logic and automated response workflows.
• Triage vulnerabilities, asset tagging, and remediation tracking.
• Support cloud identity security controls including conditional access and MFA.
• Assist with email security operations and BEC detection.
• Contribute to bug bounty and vulnerability disclosure programs.
• Evaluate AI security risks and contribute to internal AI use policies.
• Support PCI DSS v4.0 mapping across multi‑environment org.
