Job summary

Experis in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Information Security Engineer to configure and support layer 7 web security controls for internet-facing applications. You will manage WAF, rate limiting, bot controls, geolocation, mTLS, and certificate handling as part of an inbound security engineering team.

The role requires strong HTTP/S and web security knowledge, plus DNS, load balancing, and firewall policy expertise.

Qualifications

• In depth knowledge and experience with HTTP/S, Web Applications, and Web Application Security Controls required.
• Must have solid understanding of DNS, geographic, and local load balancing and firewall policies supporting HTTP/S.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and resolve issues across complex, multi-layer enterprise systems.
• Prior experience working in a product model using JIRA/Kanban.
• Experience working with enterprise change management.

Position Title: Information Security Engineer

Accepted Locations: Charlotte, NC; Chandler, AZ; Las Colinas, TX (hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)

Contract Term: 24 months; full-time conversion with the client is possible

Pay Rate: Varies - there are several positions available on the team, of differing seniority levels (Level 2 - $42.40/hour; Level 3 - $55.30/hour; Level 4 - $70.00/hour)

Interview Process: 1 round, via MS Teams video
