Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Tacoma is seeking an Information Security Cybersecurity Principal to lead a comprehensive information security program across the organization. You will define security policies, processes and standards, and deploy technical controls to protect information and systems.

You will collaborate with teams to assess threats, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide incident response while staying current with evolving security trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, or equivalent related additional experience, or combination of education and experience.
• Minimum ten (10) years of IT or information security experience.
• Experience in healthcare industry preferred.

• You will evaluate security threats, assess the potential impact on the business, and implement strategies to detect and generate alerts on security incidents
• You will ensure compliance with security regulations and privacy laws

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $133,515.20 - $184,392.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
