Qualifications

Information Security Analyst (SME) with Security Clearance

Information Security Analyst (SME) Huntsville, AL

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform the supporting technical role and actions necessary to support and participate in the Cybersecurity authorization of classified networks and systems.
  2. Support the vulnerability programs–VMS/IAVAs/SCAP HBSS/ACAS/VDP/ISCM.
  3. Interpret and remediate scan results in the context of defense in depth, network/computer security, consistent with mission requirements.
  4. Evaluate and validate technical processes used to support A&A activities necessary to assure that classified systems meet the organization's Cybersecurity requirements.
  5. Provide support to Security Controls Assessors and Validators to ensure authorization information, documentation, and related tasks are provided in accordance with authorization schedules and approved formats.
  6. Perform actions as RMF POC and shall assist in managing DoD Cybersecurity risk assessment requirements for classified information systems, including standalone and Government Cloud (AWS/Azure) information systems.
  7. Ensure all classified technical data is controlled in accordance with the appropriate classification level cited for information products.
  8. Assist in the cleanup of unclassified & classified spillage data when information is spilled onto media that are under the administrative oversight of the Contractor.
  9. Support the transition to and operation under RMF 2.0 as directed by the Government for systems.
  10. Develop training, processes, and procedures to support the transition.
  11. Make necessary changes to documentation and eMass packages to support ATOs under RMF 2.0.
  12. Analyze the RMF 2.0 transition impacts and then propose and implement Government–approved technical and cybersecurity solutions to ensure consistent ATOs for its applications, systems, and networks.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in related field.
  2. Great communication and organizational skills.
  3. Fifteen (15) years of prior experience in a similar role.
  4. DoD 8570 Level II/III certification desired.
  5. US Secret Clearance.
