Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our team as Deputy Team Lead for the Cyber Incident Response Team. You will support cybersecurity operations, compliance, and system readiness initiatives across a federal landscape.

Key duties include incident response process development, log analysis, and monitoring for managed services. A Bachelor’s with 8+ years (or Master’s with 5+ years) plus an active Secret clearance is required. Experience with eMASS is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience, or a master’s degree with 5+ years of related experience.
• Additional 4 years of related experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience using eMASS to manage cybersecurity compliance activities, security authorization documentation, and system accreditation milestones.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience with Splunk, Elastic, and Linux.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the prime contractor, government agencies, and military stakeholders to support system readiness.
• Develop and maintain incident response processes per applicable agency policies.
• Perform log analysis and monitoring in support of managed services offerings.
• Review eMASS to ensure timely completion of cybersecurity compliance tasks and system accreditation milestones.
