Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join the Cyber Incident Response Team as Deputy Team Lead. You will support cybersecurity operations, compliance, and system readiness initiatives for federal solutions across government missions.

The role requires an active Secret clearance and hands-on experience with eMASS, Splunk, Elastic, and Linux. Collaborate with government stakeholders, manage incident response processes, analyze logs, and ensure accreditation milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 8+ years of related experience, or a master's with 5+ years in lieu.
• Experience using eMASS for cybersecurity compliance and system accreditation milestones.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience with Splunk, Elastic, and Linux.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with prime contractor, government agencies, and military stakeholders.

Job Description

Parsons is seeking a highly talented Information Security Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the Deputy Team Lead for the Cyber Incident Response Team, supporting cybersecurity operations, compliance, and system readiness initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborate with the prime contractor, government agencies, and military stakeholders to support system readiness.
• Develop and maintain incident response processes in accordance with applicable agency policies and requirements.
• Perform log analysis and monitoring in support of managed services offerings.
• Review eMASS to ensure the timely completion of cybersecurity compliance tasks and system accreditation milestones.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned and appropriate for the position.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience, a masters and 5 years of related experience or additional years of related experience and certifications would be considered in lieu of a degree
• Experience using eMASS to manage cybersecurity compliance activities, security authorization documentation, and system accreditation milestones.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience with: Splunk
• Elastic
• Linux
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
