Job summary

Omnissa is seeking an Information Security Analyst in a Hybrid Atlanta role. You will monitor, analyze, and respond to security events from host logs, network data, and threat intelligence feeds, handling incidents from detection through recovery.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in security monitoring, experience with SIEM, cloud security (Azure Defender), and EDR (CrowdStrike). Familiarity with DLP (Trellix), IAM, SOAR (Tines), and scripting is required, with strong communication and a drive

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Security Monitoring and Incident Response.
• Experience with SIEM systems, tuning and threat detection.
• Understanding of cloud security principles (Azure) and Defender for Azure.
• Familiarity with EDR tools (CrowdStrike Falcon).
• Experience with DLP solutions (Trellix DLP).
• Knowledge of IAM and Microsoft Identity solutions.
• Experience with SOAR tools (Tines preferred).
• Scripting ability (Python or PowerShell).
• Strong data analysis and threat hunting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events from logs and threat feeds.
• Respond to alerts and perform end-to-end incident response.
• Develop detections, playbooks, and SOPs for emerging threats.
• Tune security tooling and automate workflows to reduce risk.
