Overview

Join the Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) Security Engineering team as an Information Security Analyst IV to help protect global content and information systems. This role involves building, maintaining, and improving enterprise security platforms across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of security engineering, scripting, and automation skills and can communicate effectively across all levels of management.

Position: Contract

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced cybersecurity technologies in complex enterprise environments
• Conduct security design reviews and identify areas for improvement
• Build and manage enterprise security platforms (on-premises, cloud, or SaaS)
• Troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure across environments
• Perform regular security audits, assessments, and documentation
• Implement host/OS hardening, logging, and monitoring aligned with best practices
• Research and evaluate emerging security technologies
• Mentor and cross-train team members
• Create SOPs and security protocols
• Translate technical security risks into business language for stakeholders
  
  

Requirement Qualifications

• 5+ years in hands-on security engineering roles
• Experience implementing and managing enterprise security tools
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Go, etc.) 5+ years
• Automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation 3+ years
• Hands-on experience with networking/system architecture with a security focus
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks
• Security and cloud certifications (CISSP, Splunk Admin, AWS SA) preferred
• Media/entertainment industry or global distributed network experience is a plus
