Placements24 is seeking an Information Security Analyst II to monitor security systems and respond to threats from our security team. The role emphasizes analyzing security events, containment of incidents, and improving defenses across our IT environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of information security experience, a strong foundation in network and endpoint security, and familiarity with SIEM/IDS-IPS tools to support ongoing threat detection and remediation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in Information Security or a related IT security role.
• Familiarity with security concepts, including network security, endpoint security, and common attack vectors.
• Experience with security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS) is a plus.

About the Role

This role is integral to the ongoing protection of the company's information assets by monitoring systems, analyzing security events, and responding to threats.
